At Ground we provide healthy options like dairy free soups, filtered water {FREE}, organic milk, almond milk, gluten free bread and we cook and bake our menu items in our kitchen every day. These things are very important so that we can provide people who have intolerances to food with options. We also have sin free options for customers following any weight loss plan.

Our coffee is from Badger & Dodo who are artisan coffee roasters based in Cork. They were the obvious choice as they are as particular about their coffee as we are about ours.

Being a hands on owner/manager is really important to Sharon who opened Ground Café in 2014. Spending time with customers and setting up Ground in the village where she lives has been such an amazing journey.

As a qualified Kinesiologist {the scientific study of human movement}, she also has a huge interest in food and it’s importance for good health.

All of our food is available to take away. If there is something in particular you need or if you’d like to pre-order by phone, we would be happy to hear from you. 

We also cater for business meetings.

With it’s innovative twist on comfort and healthy food, friendly vibe, and modern yet inviting interior, Ground is fast becoming a welcome hideaway in Sandyford. Our menus are seasonal and whenever possible we source our ingredients locally. The one exception being our Badger & Dodo coffee which is hand roasted in Cork.
