2. About AskSpud.ie

AskSpud.ie operates as a curated Irish business discovery platform providing structured listings for shops, services, cafés, professionals, makers, venues and organisations throughout Ireland.

AskSpud.ie provides visibility services only and is not a broker, agent, intermediary or contracting party between users and listed businesses.

3. Business Listings

Businesses may submit listings for inclusion within the directory. Listings may be offered under free or paid visibility tiers including Verified listings and enhanced placement options.

Submission of a listing does not guarantee publication. All listings remain subject to editorial review and approval.

AskSpud.ie reserves the right to edit formatting, categorisation or presentation of listings where required to maintain consistency across the directory.

4. Accuracy of Listing Information

Listing owners are responsible for ensuring all submitted information is accurate, lawful and up to date including:

• business name
• location details
• contact information
• descriptions
• images
• opening hours
• services offered

AskSpud.ie does not independently verify all listing content and accepts no responsibility for inaccuracies submitted by third parties.

5. Verified Listings

Verified listings are enhanced directory profiles that include additional visibility features and direct contact information.

Verified status does not represent certification, endorsement or recommendation by AskSpud.ie.

6. Subscription Services

Paid listings may operate on recurring billing cycles processed through secure third-party payment providers.

Subscriptions remain active until cancelled by the listing owner. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not affect the current billing period already in progress.

7. Refund Policy

Directory visibility services are activated immediately after purchase. For this reason payments are generally non-refundable once a listing has been published or upgraded.

Refunds may be considered only in cases of duplicate payment, technical activation failure or billing error.

Requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.

8. No Guarantee of Leads or Enquiries

AskSpud.ie provides a visibility platform designed to help businesses present information to potential customers.

We do not guarantee enquiries, customer contact, search ranking performance, website traffic or sales as a result of any listing.

9. Listing Order and Placement

Directory placement may be determined using relevance, category matching, geographic location and listing tier.

Enhanced listings may receive increased prominence within search results or category pages.

AskSpud.ie reserves the right to adjust ranking logic to improve usability and discovery across the platform.

10. Reviews and User Content

Users may submit reviews or comments on listings where enabled.

AskSpud.ie reserves the right to moderate, edit or remove content that is misleading, defamatory, abusive, promotional spam or otherwise inappropriate.

Opinions expressed in reviews belong solely to their authors.

11. Acceptable Use

Users must not submit duplicate listings, misleading information, automated submissions, unlawful material or spam content.

Accounts found abusing the platform may be suspended or removed without notice.

12. Right to Remove Listings

AskSpud.ie reserves the right to remove, suspend or modify listings where necessary to maintain directory standards, legal compliance or user trust.

Removal of a listing does not automatically entitle the listing owner to a refund.

13. Platform Role

AskSpud.ie operates solely as a discovery platform connecting users with businesses.

We are not responsible for services delivered by businesses listed on the directory.

14. Intellectual Property

All branding, layout, structure and original content on AskSpud.ie remain the property of the platform unless otherwise stated.

Listing owners retain ownership of content they submit but grant AskSpud.ie permission to display and promote that content within the directory.

15. External Links

AskSpud.ie may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of external sites.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law AskSpud.ie shall not be liable for any indirect loss, business interruption, loss of revenue or damages arising from use of the directory.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version published on this page applies to your continued use of AskSpud.ie.
